For this new camera, Canon has borrowed the majority of the G 12′s manual controls. With a few exceptions — notably setting the ISO — nearly all of the G1 X’s controls are mechanical dials which all have a nice, solid “click” to them. The nested dials on top of the camera give quick access to shooting modes and exposure compensation. On the front, you’ll find another dial below the shutter release for controlling aperture and shutter speed (depending on which mode you’re in). It’s worth noting that, despite the build quality exhibited on most of the camera, the buttons and LCD hinges are plastic and may not fare well when pitched in a travel bag.

I recently bought a Canon AE-1 and Fujifilm Superia 200 film, I haven't taken any photos with it yet because I am wondering if there is any good websites online where I can get it developed?
I have a Canon AE-1 as well and I often use Fujifilm Superia. If you don't have access to your own photo lab (I'm assuming that you don't) and you need to get your film processed I would visit a local camera or photography store.

It's basically a fun camera. The film speed is 800, which means some of the shots could have some noise in them. So you are not going to get great quality. If there is not a lot of sun, expect your pictures to be pretty blue if you take them underwater.
